Aerosphere Studios - Cumulonimbus Engine - Coming late 2010 / early 2011

Imagine a world where the villages of humans were scattered along mountaintops, and the world below was completely blocked off by an impassible wall of clouds. In a world like that, air travel would precede both land and sea. This is the kind of world that Aero Empire is set in. In this world, the player can rise the ranks, from a lowly gunner manning a turret aboard an airship, to the commander of a nation, controlling the tides of war and the armies of that nation. With the ability to talk to and influence your fellow coworkers and superiors, you can also perform a rebellion or coup d'etat, breaking free and taking control of your own nation. Aero Empire is a cross genre game, incorporating elements of role playing games, shooters, flight simulators, real time strategy and tactics. The world is populated with thousands of AI with their own desires and personalities, creating a dynamic and ever changing world.

I am a composer and I am willing to score your game, I will ink you to my portfolio where I will let my work speak for itself. I am currently scoring the hl-2 mod Grey and that is the first project I have been apart of, and I have been studying game and film scoring for over a year and am just getting started in the buisness part of things so I will most likely score your project for free. We certainly could use a sound designer. There are a lot of effects and ambient sound we want in game, although without any gameplay videos, it may be tough to figure out exactly what we’re looking for. If you guys decide you do want voice acting i’d be more than willing to help out, i’ve done voice acting and live acting for several student films and the like

I’m also interested in doing voice acting if you’d decide you’re going to do that. Also, as a student of aerospace engineering, I might be able to give some advice on “realism” (at least, as far as there is any realism in a fantasy game…) and movements of and effects on the aircraft.

Right now, we do not have any story dialog for voice actors to read, so it’s really too early to bring on voice actors now. But I’ll keep you two in mind when we need voice actors.
